Cultural Plaza is spread roundly around Haeoreum Grand Theater and the logo of the National Theater of Korea bases on the traditional colors of Korea : brown, blue, white, red and yellow is englishraved in the circle, which increases lighting effect at night. In addition, a picturesque fountain in the shape of a crescent moon along the outer track of the square provides a fresh view.
A crescent-moon-shaped fountain is newly built and is illuminated especially at nights. With the illumination the fountain offers a beautiful view and not only our audience but also out neighbors love it.
Some visitors had pointed out that although the outer surface of the Haeoreum Grand Theater which is built of stone gives the theater a magnificent, it looks too dark and even scary at night time.
In other to address that problem, the NTOK has put illumination on all of the theater’s outer pillars. The night scene of the NTOK is brightened with this effort and expectedly people who visit Namsan will enjoy the view and feel closer to the NTOK.
