The National Theater of Korea Museum of Performing Arts opened on December 23, 2009, as Korea's first museum dedicated to the performing arts.
Since its establishment in 1950, the National Theater of Korea has collected and preserved a wide range of performing arts materials—including theater, dance, changgeuk, opera, and pansori—allowing
public access through its exhibition halls and the Performing Arts Archives.
