Material Use Guidelines
The Performing Arts Museum at the National Theater of Korea holds an extensive collection of materials covering the history of Korean performing arts.
Visit the Performing Arts Resource Center to gain easy and convenient access to a wide range of performing arts resources of different genres
centered around records of performances by resident companies in theater, dance, music, changgeuk, pansori, and traditional folk performances.
The Performing Arts Archive Platform ByeolByeol Stage ( https://archive.ntok.go.kr)allows users to easily access the museum’s collection from anywhere.

Performing Arts Archives
- Archival Collections: Audiovisual and bibliographic resources related to performing arts, including performance videos, sound recordings, photographs, sc ripts, and programs.
- Material Use Guidelines
- Access: Open to all visitors.
- Copying: Limited copying is allowed within legal limits for non-commercial and public interest purposes.

- Library Materials: Books and periodicals related to performing arts, including changgeuk, dance, theater, and music.
- Material Use Guidelines
- Access: Open to all visitors.
- Copying: Partial copying is allowed in accordance with the copyright law, however, some materials cannot be copied.
- Loaning: Available only to National Theater of Korea staff and resident company members.
- Others : Access to academic databases, the National Library of Korea, and the National Assembly Library for full-text searches and resource use.
- Important Notices
- No food or drinks allowed to prevent damage to materials.
- Photography and video recording are prohibited without permission.
- Location: B1, Performing Arts Museum
- Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (Closed from 12 PM – 1 PM for lunch), closed on weekends and public holidays.

Performing Arts Archive Platform "ByeolByeol Stage"
- Website : https://archive.ntok.go.kr
- Available Services: Access to information and archived materials, book searches, and video streaming through the "Closest National Theater" service.
- Inquiries: +82-31-870-9116
- Anyone can freely access information on performances, archived materials, and publicly available resources without membership registration.
- However, ByeolByeol Stage membership is required to access additional features such as saving materials, downloading public domain content, and streaming videos from the "Closest National Theater" service.
Copying Guidelines
Copying
- Copying services are subject to internal regulations and are only available for materials owned by the National Theater of Korea or those with granted copyright permissions. These services are strictly for public interest or non-commercial purposes.
Even if eligible, requests for personal collection or viewing purposes are not permitted.
- If you wish to request a copy, please check the availability of the material on the platform first and then contact the relevant staff member.
